Did you know Austin is where the Mexican Martini originated? That’s right! The Mexican Martini was born at Austin’s Cedar Door bar in the 1980’s and later popularized by Tex Mex restaurant Trudy’s. Decades later, this citrusy cocktail (a combination of tequila, triple sec, lime juice & olive brine) was reimagined as a Frozen and the rest is history. Holiday created the Frozen Mexican Martini in March of 2023.
